I always toed the line with my drinking knowing I came from a long line of alcoholics and addicts. I let it define my personality, the “party girl” I was known as by so many. When my husband Jeremy died, my drinking amplified. I came to the realization one night after drinking too much and driving home, that my daughter had only one parent left. I needed to get it together and lay the bottle down. My faith in the Lord God Almighty helped me get sober. It hasn’t been an easy road, but it is truly one day at a time.
